In 2009, Vajpayee had a stroke that made it hard for him to speak. His health became a big worry because he needed a wheelchair, couldn’t recognize people, and had problems with memory because of dementia. He also had diabetes for a long time. For a while, he didn’t go out much except for doctor visits at the All India Institutes of Medical Sciences.
Then, on June 11, 2018, Vajpayee got very sick with a kidney infection and had to go to AIIMS. Sadly, he passed away there.
Though the exact cause hasn’t been publicly disclosed, it’s widely known that he faced many age-related issues in his later years, including diabetes and kidney problems. He bravely fought these challenges for a long time, and his life continues to inspire us all.
