Prabhas' much-awaited action film 'Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire' finally released in theaters on 22nd December and became an instant blockbuster and broke all box office records.
Salaar: Part 1- Ceasefire is directed by Prashanth Neel and film released in theaters in all languages. The movie has been produced by Vijay Kiragandur under Hombale Films.
Salaar stars Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Tinu Anand, Jagapathi Babu in lead roles. The movie also marks the biggest collaboration between Prashanth Neel and Prabhas.
Khansar is a fictional town set in the story of two friends, Deva and Vardha, portrayed by Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran respectively. The story takes a twist as friends become arch rivals.
Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire is made on an overall budget of 400 Crores and Salaar created magic at the Indian box office with a spectacular collection of Rs.95 crore on the first day.
Salaar also clashed with Shahrukh Khan's Dunky film. And Salar CeaseFire grossed ₹178.7 crore worldwide on the first day and became the biggest opening for any Indian film in 2023.
